That was the question in the Frankfurt City School Office during our meeting as part of the educational offer of LEADERSHIP RHEIN-MAIN – Netzwerk auf Augenhöhe gUG (LSRM for short) around @Laurin Strößenreuther.
The hosts Maren Hullen and Monika Ripperger playfully taught agile working methods in the public sector during this meeting with the participants from the public, private and non-profit sectors. Whether creative co-working methods, open space workshops or the coffee clock for the team: it works.
And we are particularly fond of the project “Bildungskommune“ (Education Commune). In the spirit of lifelong learning, it is intended to provide access to education for all people in Frankfurt at all ages and in all situations.
Innovation in administration met industrial corporate management culture with some surprising insights. There was no lecture, but own experiences and finally reflections. For the participants, this is about transforming the learning experiences into their own area of responsibility.
And back to the question from above. For me, education means
✳️ To make us aware of what needs to be learned, for me and for everyone, and
✳️ to create learning opportunities for this, at any time and in any place.
For the transformation into my everyday life, this statement applies to my current topics, namely intercultural leadership, sustainability and further training also for employees 50 and 60plus.
➡️ Education is more than school and university. It concerns lifelong learning. Or how do you see that?
