Ich bin dann mal weg – Out-of-office now
I have actually already travelled to most of the countries that are shown in purple on the map below. Not all. And some countries that I have already travelled to are still a blank spot here.
I have discovered a new hobby. This has to do with my blog. There is a dashboard with a geographical evaluation. The respective map has done it to me. There are the countries in which at least one of my posts has been viewed. I find it exciting to follow how this map slowly fills up.
I’ve been writing regularly on my dot blog WordPress site “Prepare4Landing” for a good two years. It has become something like my digital journal. Close to life, I share short stories that have a concrete connection to one of my five narrative categories. Storytelling in the following narrative streams:
* Expat Life & Business Travel: That’s how it all started.
* Football meets Business: Because I’ve learned so much from my sports coaching life for business.
* Reading2Learn: When the desire to read affects ideas for writing.
* Intercultural leadership: Four guiding principles have been developed for this purpose.
* Leadership in Balance: Coaching/mentoring practice, operational excellence initiatives and cross-generational projects and encounters.
It is often about global topics. My blog can be read bilingually in German and English.
And now I will be out of office for a while. On the road. Vacation and then Workation. This broadens the horizons. Out of the usual comfort zone with a focus on other ways of thinking and realities of life. Travel with open eyes and ears, receptive to new things and ready for reflection. I’m very much looking forward to it.
