A special spotlight on Prepare for Landing: The Sigmaringen Economic Development Agency has featured my book in their latest newsletter. And I am truly delighted.
When a regional institution that works daily with economic development, innovation, and future-oriented topics highlights a book dedicated to the relational art of leadership, a meaningful resonance space emerges. One that connects practice with reflection.
The newsletter captures with precision what matters to me: cultural diversity as a resource, language as a bridge, small gestures as fields of energy, misunderstandings as moments of learning.
At the center of it all stands the human being. And especially today, with global processes, digital transformation, new working-time models, and growing generational diversity, this perspective becomes increasingly relevant.
I am particularly pleased that the Economic Development Agency emphasizes the four guiding principles of my book as a structure that supports leaders in their everyday work.
Seeing diversity not as an obstacle but as a strength. That is an aspiration that matters just as much in local contexts. It applies to teams, organizations, and public administration, which actively engage with topics such as migration, sustainability, and digitalization.
That my book is presented in this environment is a clear sign to me: Intercultural leadership is not a niche topic. It is part of a modern economic and societal reality. And it is essential wherever people work, speak, and shape things together.
A heartfelt thank you to the Sigmaringen Economic Development Agency for this appreciative feature and for the courage to make leadership as relational art visible.
What do you think: How can regional institutions help make intercultural leadership visible as a key competence?
