Sustainability in a generational Dialogue
Circular economy is the model of the future in the field of plastics production.
At least that is the fundamental conviction at Pütz Folien GmbH in Taunusstein-Wehen. The family-owned company cuts films from leading manufacturers precisely for its customers worldwide, focusing on responsible management and sustainable use of its resources.
Recently, we were invited by Dennis Pütz to the company for a cross-generational dialogue on the topic of sustainability. We are young adults who are completing a Voluntary Ecological Year (FÖJ for short) and their coaches.
▶ The concept: questions from the young generation and answers from the company. In one day. A dialogue conversation at eye level. ◀
On site, all participants were able to confirm that the company takes the topic of circular economy very seriously. It ranges from the avoidance of waste in the production process to careful sorting for the reuse of clean goods residues to research projects regarding the production of recyclable films.
New, exciting ideas were also addressed by the FÖJ-tis and discussed in dialogue. Especially in terms of the reach and visibility of the company as a mood generator and catalyst for the transformation of the industrial sector towards a circular economy.
A successful and stimulating day for everyone.
➡ We are now starting our planning for the dialogue talks for the next year 2025/2026. In case you and your enterprise is interested, please let us know.
—————–
The project with the FÖJ-tis arose from an encounter within the educational offer of LEADERSHIP RHEIN-MAIN – Netzwerk auf Augenhöhe gUG (LSRM for short) around founder Laurin Strößenreuther.
My work on the board of trustees of LSRM is voluntary. I am happy to participate in the dialogue talks of the FÖJ-tis and industrial companies as a coach and mentor together with Laurin and Claudia Gräbel-Beermann.
We would like to thank the FÖJ-tis for their commitment, willingness to participate and identification with the topic, as well as the company Pütz Folien, especially Julia Reinwand, Gunnar Vahlenkamp, Kim Pütz and Dennis Pütz for the discussion with us.
I am Bernd Scharbert and I accompany and advise when it comes to intercultural leadership, diversity and sustainable work in general.
